Alumni Panel 1/8 @ 7pm in the BHS Board Room

"Moving Up and Moving On" a Bold Council Alumni Panel. Join recent graduates of the Bronxville School who received accommodations and hear about their post-HS transitions. This is an HS & MS parent and student event. Parents please encourage your students to attend. It is a great opportunity for them talk to students like themselves.

Register for Bronxville Skating Club: Sessions Begin Monday, January 13

The Bronxville Skating Club offers group ice skating sessions to students K-5 at Murrays' Ice Rink at 348 Tuckahoe Rd, Yonkers (near Ridge Hill). Beginnner, intermediate and advanced levels are welcome. Sessions will begin on Monday, January 13 and run through Monday, March 30. Lessons are 30 minutes long and take place between 3:30-5pm (with open skating before or after lesson). In addition, a 60-minute hockey clinic will be offered to those with basic skating skills (no prior hockey experience required.) Parents and toddler siblings may also skate with additional guest registration. Skate rental is available at the rink. MIDDLE SCHOOL CHARACTER AND COMMUNITY COMMITTEE (MSCC)

URGENT HELP NEEDED this Wednesday, January 8:  Help serve the needy a warm meal at the CSA Soup Kitchen in Mt. Vernon. Meet at the ES Canopy at 4:30pm and be returned there by 6pm. Student volunteers and cookies bakers needed. Sign up HERE to serve, drive or bake.

Wednesday, January 15: Cook for the CSA Soup Kitchen in Bronxville School's own kitchen from 3:15-4:45pm. Students prep, cook, taste and clean up a meal that is then delivered to the Mount Vernon CSA soup kitchen. Parents are needed to purchase food, supervise kids, deliver food.  Click HERE to volunteer your child to cook or to be an adult chaperone. 

Wednesday, January 29:  Mentor an elementary school student. Please join the HS mentoring committee in mentoring an ES student. All 3 schools working together.  From 3-4pm in Room B202. School community service credits given. Click HERE to volunteer.

PERFORMING ARTS

 

MS Early Morning Music: Please help your child remember his or her Early Morning Music class day: 

Tuesday, Grade 8; Wednesday, Grade 7; Thursday Grade 6.  All students should arrive by 7:45am for the early morning class.  

ES Play: "Untangled" to be performed on January 25 & 26

Auditions for 5th graders only for lead roles are January 9 from 3-4:30pm (Cast A) and January 10 from 3-4:30pm (Cast B).  Rehearsals run for two weeks beginning January 13 after school based on cast assignment.  Performances will be Saturday and Sunday the weekend of January 25 as noted above.
