B*Well - OneLove Event 11/12 @7pm Join One Love to learn how adults can start the conversation about healthy and unhealthy relationships with the young people in their lives. Film screening and Q&A for parents will be held in the MPR from 7-9pm. RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org
Bold Council Parent Talk 11/13 @7pm. Please join the BOLD Council for a Parent Talk on "Planning for Success: Post High School Transition Planning for Students with an IEP or 504". The meeting will be held in the HS Board Room (A108). Panelists include parents Angela Seminara & Lori Beecher, as well as Lena Martini a transition services consultant for Eastchester & Scarsdale school districts.

ES Play Registration This Week for "Untangled"
Registration for the ES Play can be completed on the PTA website via Membership Toolkit. The dates to register are as follows: Grade 5- 11/12 & 11/13; Grade 4- 11/14; Grade 3- 11/15. More information below in "Performing Arts"
Book Fair is Coming! Please mark your calendars for Monday November 18 - Friday November 22 for the ES Book Fair. The book fair committee will be offering TWO early morning opportunities to come shop with your children before you head off to work and they go off to school on Monday 11/18 and again on Thursday, 11/21 at 7:45am. Please consider signing up to volunteer for a shift as well!

Wednesdays @ ECAP! (4-5:00 pm) Calling all 8th graders to tutor at ECAP! An opportunity for 8th graders only to assist at the after school program at ECAP in Tuckahoe. Please sign up for multiple
sessions. Drop off and pick up at ES Canopy.

Wednesday, November 13: Technology Tutoring for Seniors at Gramatan Village. (3:15-4:15pm) Do community service AND still be on your devices - all walking distance from school! Help senior citizens at Gramatan Village learn how to FaceTime with their families, send texts, download apps and other basic smart phone technology to help keep them connected to their loved ones and the outside world. Tutoring will be one-on-one. Student volunteers FILLED. Click HERE to chaperone the kids as they work with the elderly!

ATHLETICS, PERFORMING ARTS & SCHOOL COMMUNITY NEWS
Winter Sports Registration: Registration is open for JV, Varsity and Modified Winter Sports at https://www.familyid.com/bronxville-athletics. Varsity and JV sports start on November 11 & 12. Modified sports will have an all sports meeting on November 18 with practices starting November 25. Registrations should be completed before the start date in order for athletes to be cleared for the first day of practice. Any MS student trying out for a HS team must still complete the Advanced Placement Parent Permission Form that is available on the athletic website http://www.bronxvilleathletics.com.Health clearance forms should then be completed through FamilyID.

MS Early Morning Music: Please help your child remember his or her Early Morning Music class day:
Tuesday, Grade 8; Wednesday, Grade 7; Thursday Grade 6. All students should arrive by 7:45am for the early morning class.
MS Play: Murder, Actually 11/15 & 11/16 @7pm
The MS play opens this coming weekend in the Bronxville School Auditorium! Performances will be held Friday, November 15 at 7pm and Saturday, November 16 at 7pm. Tickets will be sold at the door ($5 for children and $10 for ages 11 and up). Come see the MS performers in "Murder, Actually" where Wuthering Heights meets Downton Abbey meets Love, Actually.

Registration for the ES Play can be completed on the PTA website via Membership Toolkit. The dates to register are as follows:

Grade 3- 11/15
Space is limited and is on a first come-first serve basis. Children will be assigned to Cast A or B after registration. Rehearsals run for two weeks beginning January 13 and performances will be the weekend of January 25. If you have any questions please email EStheater@bronxvilleschool.org

One Love Foundation Event on 11/12

NPC Meeting on 11/14 @ 7pm
On Thursday, November 14, Bronxville's Committee for Non-Partisan Nomination and Election of School Trustees (NPC), will host its annual Open Meeting at 7pm in the Yeager Room of the Bronxville Public Library. All members of the Bronxville community are invited to attend. School Superintendent Roy Montesano, School Board President Jonathan Atkeson, and School Board member Jack Bierworth will discuss the top issues facing the school and board and will answer questions from the public.
