May 29: Bronco Strong Team Store Raises $2,000
The Bronxville Athletic Council wants to thank the community for supporting the Bronco Strong Team Store. The store raised $2,000, which will be donated to the "Feeding Westchester" food bank and Destination College.
Through the sale of Bronco/BXV Strong T-shirts and hats, the fundraiser allowed the Bronxville community to show their support of area organizations who are assisting families during the coronavirus pandemic.
May 11, 2020: Welcome to My Team Shop for: BRONXVILLE STRONG
Dear Members of the Bronxville Community,
The Bronxville High School Athletic Council, an arm of the PTA, is pleased to offer a great way for the Bronxville community to show their support of area organizations who are assisting families during this pandemic with the opening of the Bronco/BXV Strong T-shirt and Hat Sale. Five dollars from each item purchased from the store will be donated to the Feeding Westchester Food Bank and to Destination College. Feeding Westchester provides meals to seniors, children, and families in Westchester County. Four meals can be provided for every $1.00 donated. Destination College (Motto: “from Athlete to Student Athlete”) is working even harder at this time to make sure that “all the students in their programs, regardless of athletic ability, get accepted at a college that best fits their educational needs, financial circumstances and will permit them to graduate in a timely manner.” They work with three underserved high schools in the area: Mt. Vernon, Woodlands, and Gorton. Please note that all orders will be placed once the store closes on May 26. Please allow about 3 weeks for delivery. Items are custom printed so there are no returns or exchanges. Thank you for supporting the Bronxville community, the Westchester Food Bank, and Destination College.
STAY SAFE, STAY BRONCO STRONG!
With our sincere thanks, Bronxville HS Athletic Council.
